A flower a day for September. #14

Azalea 'Alphonse Anderson' is one of my top ten azaleas. How it got the name 'Alphonse Anderson'I can't find out but at a guess it is probably named after a plant breeder called, you guessed it too didn't you, Alphonse Anderson.

I'm not going to rewrite the bible here so I'm posting a couple of links that give you heaps of info on growing azaleas.

First is from Burke's Backyard

Second is from Gardening Australia. The GA link is more detailed and technical.

One thing I'd like to say is that I have seen this cultivar growing and thriving on natural rainfall, in full sun and thriving on neglect up to at least three mts tall. Absolutely spectacular when out in full bloom.Once established almost bomb proof.

I'm not sure exactly why but this website is loading incredibly slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end? I'll check back later on and
see if the problem still exists.

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the layout of
your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is required to get set up? I'm assuming
having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?

I'm not very internet smart so I'm not 100% positive. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it

First of all I want to say terrific blog! I had a
quick question in which I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I've had trouble clearing my thoughts
in getting my thoughts out there. I do enjoy writing but it
just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost simply just
trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips?

Kudos!

Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with
hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of
hard work due to no backup. Do you have any methods to prevent hackers?

I am new to developing sites and I was wanting to
know if having your site title related to your articles and other content really that vital?
I see your title, "Blogger: My Veggie Garden " does seem to be spot on with what your blog is about but yet, I prefer to keep my title less content descriptive and based
more around site branding. Would you think this is a good
idea or bad idea? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
