My thoughts are with you and your people, it is devastating news that reaches us. I hope you and your family are safe and I wish rain will fall to help you out.

Take care/ Tyra

Thank you for putting this link on your blog. In the midst of shattered communities there is a wonderful sense of caring. I have not been directly affected, but have friends and workmates among the traumatized.

Hi Tyra,
I'm personally along way from the fires, but seeing so many of my fellow countrymen fall in such a tragic way has left me feeling very sad.
Thank you for the warm wishes.

Hi catmint, glad you are safe, I truly can't imagine what it is like down there.

Is it true arson was the cause?

Hi Conservative Gardener,
They are pretty certain in at least one case.

There's a story here about it.

The Police are going to want to find him first before anyone else or he'll be killed for sure.
