Going to get back on the horse.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again and so I shall. Some older blogger friends will know I started a tertiary preparation program last year at the USQ with the aim of starting a uni degree but' due to circumstances beyond my control' I didn't complete it. The good news is I have just come back from the USQ this morning and found out I can start again in the 2nd semester. So right now I'm feeling excited again but with a little terror mixed in as well. And hopefully there will be no circumstances beyond my control this time around.

This will mean curtailing some of my veggie growing while I'm studying but as I found out last year I was trying to do way to much which in the end probably led to my circumstances beyond my control. I'm thinking at this stage I'll reduce the size of my veggie garden and plant mainly herbs and salad/leafy plants that I like to pick fresh. Anyhow that's it for now, fingers crossed, I'll see how I go.

Cheers

Task 3

Assignment 2 Part A Task 2 now complete.

Now for Assignment 2 Part A Task 3

Task 2

Assignment 2 Part A Task 1 complete!

Now for Assignment 2 Part A Task 2

ache in my back

I was hoping for a better day today but have woken up with more of a ache in my back rather than pain. Still better than I was 10 days ago.
I'm hoping to start work again on Wed nite, I'll see how I go anyhow.
I have 2 assignments due this week for my TPP course at uni so I'd better get cracking on that. Sitting and typing isn't the easiest thing for me atm.

Just when I thought it was safe to go to the mail box

Just when I thought it was safe to go to the mail box, uni send me more study material.

Mathematics teriary preparation level A (anything but level A.) If I wasn't in a panic before, then I am now.

I start Friday at 9.00am. I'm oscillating between sheer terror and pure excitement.

Once I get through day 1 I'll settle down a bit. (I hope)

D-Day

Well D-Day has arrived.

I start my first class of my Tertiary Preparation Program on Friday at 9am.

I've currently got my head stuck in some study material they have sent me and so far so good.

As for the veggies, well they are doing very well atm, just watering weeding, and some mulching and eating.

I'd like to say that post ing from here on might become irregular but I'll see how I go. Maybe if I make good use of my time I'll be able to get some stuff up.

I know I have a little lettuce story I want to post so I'll see how I go with that one.

The rose is called Ebb Tide and now resides in my veggie garden.

The National Rose Trial Garden of Australia had this to say in 2005.

Award: Certificate of Merit
Name: Ebb Tide
Type: floribunda rose
Habit: a purple double with exposed yellow stamens that age to cerise pink
Breeder: Weeks, Chino CA, USA
Exhibitor: Swane's Nurseries, NSW

My heads hurting.

Ok, whose bright idea was it for me to go to Uni after leaving school in grade 11, 30 years ago.

Oh, ok, mine you say.

Bugger!!!

I'm half way through a Tertiary Preparation Program English test and my head already hurts.

This is just to get me started, what's the real thing going to be like?

It's ok Stewart, just breath deeply, it'll be alright.

Hopefully some veggie news coming your way on Wednesday after I've finished hurting my head.

I'd better finish off the second half of this test so I can start the maths one. Yippee!

Stewart loves tests, not. Stewart loves tests, not. Stewart loves tests, not.

Anyone good at algebra?
