Pesticides Linked to Many Types of Cancers
'Nearly 1,400 pesticides have been registered (i.e., approved) by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for agricultural and non-agricultural use. Exposure to these chemicals has been linked to brain/central nervous system (CNS), breast, colon, lung, ovarian (female spouses), pancreatic, kidney, testicular, and stomach cancers, as well as Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and soft tissue sarcoma. Pesticide-exposed farmers, pesticide applicators, crop duster pilots, and manufacturers also have been found to have elevated rates of prostate cancer, melanoma, other skin cancers, and cancer of the lip.

This made me laugh last night.

This made me laugh last night.
You see from time to time while driving a cab we can send 'messages' alerting other drivers of traffic accidents or other potential hazards that we might need to avoid. But after 5 years of driving cabs last nights message was a first and if you knew the establishment you'd understand more my merriment.
The message read, "27/05 01:15 Cars in vicinity of settlers inn please try to avoid as a fight is in progress in car park at rear".
Bah ha ha ha ha ha hah, I know I might seem easily amused but after five years this was hilarious.

'till next time cheers

K the P's and P the K's

My next major project on my way to my major, major project of a cardigan here at My Veggie Garden (The cardigan was named after James Brudenell, 7th Earl of Cardigan,).
As I am teaching my self all this fancy knitting, the scarf is for practicing the Cables Stitch which I'll need for my major, major project.
My major, major project as I have mentioned is for a cardigan which I hope to have completed for Christmas so I can give it to my Daughter, Elysha, the self proclaimed Cardie Queen of Toowoomba.
I don't have a pattern for the cardigan as of yet so if anyone has one they would like to share I'd be interested.
So K1, P1 and K the P's and P the K's.
Cheers and wish me luck

Well slap my butt
Well slap my butt and call me a biscuit.
It feels quite humid here for this time of the year so I checked out the Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology on look what they have to say:- Monday: Showers increasing to rain periods. Light to moderate E to NE winds MIN 11 MAX 18.......
.
Outlook for Tuesday ... Rain periods. Truly Amazing if it happens. Might have to find where I put those broad bean seeds after all.
