I remember watching Kimba, I also remember wanting to strangle him because he was so irritating. I think there was only one cartoon character that irritated me more and that was Astro Boy.
Hi Caitlyn, not sure what you mean 'Animal Farm'. And I haven't watched any since I was a kid. I was looking back with my child memory. Is it overtly violent? I just remember Kimba always coming out on top in face of adversity (ie:- the big meanies).
Nevyn, say it isn't so. Who didn't want rockets in their shoes so they could fly all around the place. Come to think of it he was a bit irritating. A drama queen maybe.
Well I'm still waiting for my jet pack Nevyn - I loved Astro Boy and the Jetsons too. And Stewart, we must be the same age or close 'cause Kimba the White Lion was a big favourite! I haven't seen it since I was a kid either but I know the words to the tune by heart. When my brother bought an old white Austen Kimberly - or did he save it from the tip? can't remember - we called it Kimba, of course!

I used to love Kimba, but I showed him to my kids recently and was horrified. All rather Animal Farm. hmm.
