The time has come to harvest the potato bag.
While the harvest was small I remain hopeful of better harvests in the future.
Three things I can do different, one is to plant earlier, two is to move the bags to a sunnier position and three is to increase the amount of water they receive. Three and a half would be to regularly apply liquid fertiliser.
The reason I could supply more water is that I wasn't sure about the drainage of the bags. So in order to avoid a soggy mess and possible rotting the potatoes, I kept them a bit on the dry side.
From what I could tell though is that the bags seemed to drain quite well.
