I added a third story to my tattie tyre palace today but it's starting to look like the leaning tower of Pisa so this will be the last extention. It's just wait and see from here on. Here is the first two story's

Hi again Stewart why did you cut the top off your tyres?? is it just to increase the growing area???? I have left mine intact because I find they don't dry out as much.
Hi daisymum, I find when you stack a second or third tyre on top of each other it is hard to maintain soil level and moisture inside of the tyre, so by cutting the tyre wall out I have better wetting of the soil with no dry pockets. Just one on the ground around plants is probably better off kept in tact. I hope that makes scene for you. Cheers Stewart BTW where is daisy mountain near?
