Impressive huh?

Not a good year for growing Tomatoes around these parts this season.

Here is the sum total of my Tomato harvest this Summer.

Impressive huh?

And this one was self sown, all the Tomatoes that I went to the trouble of actually planting failed miserably.

The rain has arrived as predicted so all my planting yesterday is getting a good soaking at the moment.

It goes without saying that I'm stuck indoors for the next day or so but with nice steady rain falling on the veggie garden outside I wouldn't have it any other way. Gives me heaps of time to look through all the online seed catalogs.

Cheers

Stewart.

tomato self sown? that in itself is impressive......

Even down in Victoria it hasn't been an outstanding tomato season. But seeing your poor result, I will stop moaning.

Bangchik, I had nothing to do with it :)
Hazel, I'm not sure if I feel better or worse after that!! Glad though you have done better than me but it wouldn't have been hard to beat.

Cheers.

Hey Stewart,

All I can say is save the seeds from that one.. anything that can grow through being inundated as many times as your garden has this year is tough stuff.

:-D

Belinda, I like your thinking and will do that.

Not much luck with tomatoes here either. I think they like dry feet rather than soggy ones!

It looks like a nice tomato though Stewart. In Adelaide I had tomatoes coming out of my ears.
