How I propagate dwarf mulberry from cuttings.

Here's how I propagate dwarf mulberry from cuttings. After three months of good summer growth, it's now time to re-pot the dwarf mulberry into a larger pot and while I'm at it take some semi-hardwood cuttings.

The time has come to harvest the potato bag.

The time has come to harvest the potato bag. While the harvest was small I remain hopeful of better harvests in the future. Three things I can do different, one is to plant earlier, two is to move the bags to a sunnier position and three is to increase the amount of water they receive. Three and a half would be to regularly apply liquid fertiliser. The reason I could supply more water is that I wasn't sure about the drainage of the bags. So in order to avoid a soggy mess and possible rotting the potatoes, I kept them a bit on the dry side. From what I could tell though is that the bags seemed to drain quite well. Radish baby salad leaves.

Right-o trendsetters, time to plant some more baby salad leaves.

This time it Radish and with the weather we're having it won't take long before I'm picking sweet young radish leaves for my salads.

And for a Summer treat I made short work of a couple of cobs of corn todey.

There's still time to plant some corn if you haven't. Probably best from seedlings at this stage of the game.

Water your Comfrey/Happy New Year.

New year, new me? Nah! Unlikely.

I do need to get some kind of automatic watering system sorted out for the veggie garden though. I seem to spend over half of my time watering rather then gardening. So, prioity #1 is irrigation.

Happy New Year to you all, anyways. I wish for you as good a year as you hope for and even more.
Bountiful harvests, rain when you need it and motivation when things are looking a bit too much!
